What we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect your email address. If you email us, we also hold your name and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Our website host may also record limited technical information needed to deliver the site securely, such as your IP address and browser type.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your email address to send you updates about the MIM platform, including early access, research and news. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

We use messages you send us to reply to you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run our website and send our emails. These are our website hosting provider and our email marketing provider. They process your information on our behalf and only on our instructions.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our service providers store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address on our waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after we last contacted you, whichever comes first. We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months after the conversation ends.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it
  • ask for your information in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, email info@mimhq.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies that are essential for it to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are set and update this notice.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
